Dear All:

On 9 August 2024, whilst MV YM Mobility was alongside Phase III Terminal of Ningbo Port, an explosion occurred from cargo container(s) at her bow area. Fire-fighting operation was carried out by the local port authorities and it was reported that fire was put out and inspections are currently being carried out.

Apparently, the incident has given rise to General Average and the Shipowners have decided to declare General Average (GA) and have appointed Richards Hogg Lindley to collect the necessary GA securities from the concerned in cargo, etc.
